With over 6,500 visitors and 130 exhibitors, ForumClub-ForumPiscine is once more proven to be the leading event in Italy for professionals of fitness, wellness and aquatics.

About 1,000 congressmen in the International Congress and the meetings organized by associations and trade companies.

The next edition will take place from 13^th to 15^th February 2019 with the classic edition of the event at the Congress Centre and in Hall 19 of the Bologna Exhibition Centre. 

Bologna – the double event ForumClub-ForumPiscine Gallery ended today in Hall 33 of the Bologna Exhibition Centre. The show is proven to be the leading event in the sectors of fitness, wellness and pools, thanks to an Exhibition made up of companies and buyers from all over the world - 30% foreign companies among the 130 exhibitors - and it is the mirror of a sector that, after the crisis years, is experiencing a new growth and looks at the future with more confidence. As a confirmation of this trend, the Expo was the stage of the premiere presentation of many technologies and new products by manufacturers: hi-tech machines for real time error correction of movements; virtual reality systems to make workout more engaging; new products to build and maintain pools; management systems; this and much more at ForumClub-ForumPiscine, which confirms its focus towards innovation.

The international congress, which is always a moment of professional update for trade players, focused on some of the hottest trade topics, for the benefit of attendees and thanks to the speakers' suggestions. One of the most relevant sessions was about the recent law on amateur sport - i.e. the final step of a long procedure - which was the core of the national congress of ANIF – Eurowellness during the last day of the Forum.

Another outstanding session was the one on the idea of self-sufficient pools, i.e. sustainable pools that, thanks to some technological measures, work as real water supply to combat desertification; this session is the result of the collaboration between Piscine Oggi magazine and Assopiscine - the Italian Association of pool builders - both committed in spreading this trend and promoting environmental sustainability and energy saving. The Forum also launched the Italian neologism "piscinologo" to address pool professionals.

Federterme - the Italian federation of thermal centres - helped enrich the program with a meeting dedicated to management of thermal spa pools: hygiene regulations, new technologies and current trends, how to make spas and wellness centres more attractive and competitive to meet the requirements of more and more demanding customers.

THE FORUM AWARDS

ForumClub-ForumPiscine once again celebrates excellence: on Thursday 22nd February the 8th Italian Pool Award and the 12th Club Award respectively by the magazines Piscine Oggi and Il Nuovo Club awarded structures, professionals and designers that stood out for innovation and quality.

The winners of the Italian Pool Award are:

The Special Facebook Award, the challenge on the offical Forum fanpage, went to Arch. Carmelo Greco of Piscine System.

The winners of the Club Award are:

• GymUp Ipercity in Albignasego (Padua) - Club of the Year;
• Officina del Movimento in Abano Terme (Padua) - Category Innovation;
• Royal Wellness Club in Pescara - Category Special.
